Cheap TP Killed My Sex Life

Say what now!? No, but seriously. I told y'all, I'm grown AF and we will speak on things that are TMI. 😬 🙊 Welcome to life after dirty thirty, bishes! So, uh, buckle up. Mmmkay?

I thought it was PCOS changing my PH balance or something...
I  thought it was the heat (it's been hot AF in NYC 🌞) ...
I thought, whoa, maybe my sugar is crazy high...
I changed soaps 3 times...
I started drinking more water...

It could honestly be a specific combo of all of these things, but the main culprit is the cheap toilet paper I use (was using!). I've been off toilet paper for about a week now. That's right, my bougie vajayjay hasn't seen TP in an entire week. I've been using feminine wipes, and not just any feminine wipes! They have to be perfume free. Sans fragrance and harsh chemicals. Thank You GoodWipes + UpandUp. I prefer GoodWipes, and I'm actually recommending that brand. {Hey, I'm not crunchy enough yet to make my own dang wipes, but y'all I was seriously getting close 😓}

So, how exactly did it kill your sex life if it's only been a week Jae? Because I had been letting it go on for months. 👎😑 I seriously chucked it up to hormonal changes due to PCOS, because it was happening once or twice a month. The irritation was getting worse. I was Googling my butt off to try and figure out what could be going on. The last late night research told the tale of a woman with similar discomfort, then she went home to Europe and would be fine. She came back to the US, and the same irritation. The culprit? Her toilet paper! In Europe she was using unbleached toilet paper and her hoo-hah was fine. 😌🙌

I ditched the cheap stuff and BOOM! We have sexual relations lift off 🚀🚀🚀 I have been researching what brand is cost effective for unbleached toilet paper. I think I'm going to go with Seventh Generation Natural Unbleached. To be honest, I'm afraid to even come off the wipes 😥 I've been trying to get a handle of the irritation for the better part of a week with creams and PH balance wash. But you know what? In the end good ole COCONUT OIL finally cleared it up! Is there anything coconut oil seriously can't do?

Vlog Magick v.6: My Growing Walgreen's Addiction

Hey, lovelies! It's been a while. May is still Mental Health Awareness month, so I'm exercising working on myself this month. It's especially important to me because I'm getting a year older in my dirty thirty's. It's both bittersweet and eye opening. I'm finding my depths this month, more so than I have ever been tried in all my 31 years. I'm finding a strength I didn't know I had in myself, and it's growing everyday. I still have many obstacles to overcome, but day by day, a girl is kicking the ass of all the negativity coming my way. I just keep reminding myself and telling myself that this season is almost over. I'm still winning in my own special way. Lovelies, what ways are you taking care of yourself this month?

Adulting: Mental Health Awareness Month

I didn't realize my birth month is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth. Funny how the first day of the month I have a complete mental breakdown. I'm fine now. Actually the next day I was doing much better.

I knew that transitioning my blog from my budding writing career to a lifestyle blog would be an interesting transition. I am usually secretive and tend to keep my feelings to myself. I knew that somewhere there would be an enemy or foe scowling at my posts, or making jokes at my expense. Which is fine, it comes with the territory. I don't do this for you, I do this for the lone girl that's out there like me. For the person who thinks they are the only one who suffers. I'm open because I'm strong enough to be open. I'm open about my PCOS and the facial hair that comes with it, because I'm inspired by those women who were brave enough to share their experiences.

I'm experiencing what I'm coining 'Environmental Sadness'. My surroundings are mak…
