Happy New Year, loverlies! I hope your holidays were awesome and you got everything you wanted for Christmas. Welcome to the brand new blog, Black Belle Magick!!! Let's talk about New Year's Resolutions and why I don't make them, how I came about the new name, and what's in store for 2018! (Well, what I have "planned").
Black Belle Magick? I follow a Facebook called Black Southern Belle, and one of their featured post was titled (and this is not exact wordage) something along the lines of "Florida Belle"... And I squeed so loud, to myself, of course. The previous title, Ebony Brewed Magick just didn't sit well with me. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I miss being in the South, and I love everything about being in the South. As I type this on a cold NYC day where the weather feels like 5 degree wind chill, I can't wait to feel 90 degree weather on my skin. With the name change will come brand new content, and I can't wait!
I used to make New Year's Resolution lists, and guess what? I would never fall through with them. I honestly can't even remember the last time I sat down and created a list at the end/beginning of the year of what I wanted to accomplish. They say it's important, that you need to see what you want to accomplish. I haven't done one of these since 2012, which you can find that post here.
